Personally I can not believe the pope, who is an influencial leader would say something like that. Him of all people would think and learn the facts before saying anything that would bring up controversy . Especially in a country like Africa where protection against "AIDS/HIV" and "STD'S" is desperately needed. I am not a catholic, but from my perspective I thought the pope would have better morals for people, and not preach something that isn't true. In all fairness you can't tell someone not to have sex, it is apart of life, and making false statements to try and stop people from having sex is wrong. This is because you are truly making matters worse. That is why the pope should learn the facts before saying something that will
create controversy.
